Magnificent Monday

Happy Magnificent Monday...and on this Monday, I'd like to share a DYI project I completed two weeks ago. I've been working on my guest bedroom...on and off since December, and it feels like I'm no where near being done....but I AM done with one piece. This chair will adorn a corner in my guest bedroom. I've had this chair for over 7 years. It's original color was a cherry color with a blue, pink, and white tapestry on the seat. I didn't take pictures of it before I stripped the old tapestry fabric...sorry. But now it looks great, and it will make a great addition to my guest bedroom...once it's done. I'm hoping to be done with the guest bedroom sometime in July.

 {all images via my blackberry. Here is the chair; It has a coat of primer. The chair is solid wood, and I'm guessing it is close to being 100 years old.}

{I used Krylon spray paint in white...high gloss}

{I removed the old tapestry and replaced it with this beautiful green and white Sunbrella fabric. It was on sale, and I only paid a little over $10.00}

{Here is the end product. I purchased this chic pillow by Dwell Studio for Target for $24.00. This combination of colors makes a great statement.}
